Terms & conditions

1. What the service is

Safaqat is software. It executes a pre-defined, rules-based trading strategy on a brokerage account that you open, own, and control, using API keys you provide and can revoke at any time. Safaqat is not a broker, not a custodian, not a fund, and does not hold, receive, or transmit your money.

2. No investment advice

Nothing in the service, signals, trades, dashboards, statistics, messages, is investment, legal, tax, or religious advice. The engine applies the same rule set for everyone who enables it, adjusted only by the risk limits you configure. Whether systematic trading suits your situation is your decision alone; consult a licensed advisor if unsure.

3. Service & availability

The service is provided as is, without any promise of uptime, continuity, or feature stability. It runs on a brokerage account you connect: simulated-money or live, your choice; a live account trades real money, is your responsibility, and requires your explicit high-risk acknowledgment where applicable. We may pause, change, or discontinue the service at any time.

4. Your account and custody

You are responsible for your brokerage account, for keeping your login and API credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the settings you choose (budget, risk per trade, position limits). Trading keys issued by the broker cannot withdraw funds, and we never ask for keys that could. You can disable trading or disconnect your keys at any moment from your dashboard or at the broker.

5. Risk disclosure

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Strategies can and do have losing trades, losing weeks, and losing months. Backtested or simulated results have inherent limitations and do not guarantee future performance. Never allocate money you cannot afford to lose. Stops reduce risk but cannot eliminate it markets can gap through protective levels.

6. Halal screening

We screen every symbol for business-activity and financial-ratio compliance using multiple established Shariah screening sources, exclude margin, shorting, options, and interest-bearing instruments by architecture, and drop symbols that become contested. We make this effort in good faith but it is not a fatwa, and scholars differ on individual names. Review the roster yourself if strict conformity to a specific methodology matters to you.

7. Fees

The subscription is currently free. If we introduce a paid subscription it will be a flat fee, announced in advance, opt-in, and governed by updated terms. We will never charge a share of profits and never take payment authority over your brokerage account. All subscription fees and other amounts paid are non-refundable, including for any unused portion of a billing period, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

8. Data and privacy

We store the minimum needed to run the service: your email, your configuration, your trade and position records, and your broker API keys, the keys encrypted (AES-256-GCM) the moment they reach our engine and never displayed again, not even to our own web portal. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond the processors needed to run the service (hosting, database, email, optional Telegram).

9. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or interfere with the service, probe other users' data, or use the service where doing so would be unlawful. We may suspend accounts that endanger the platform or other users.

10. Intellectual property and confidentiality

Everything that makes up the service belongs to Safaqat: the website and its content, the software, the trading strategies and their rules, signals, models, data, documentation, and branding. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own account, nothing more. You may not copy, share, publish, resell, or leak any part of the service; you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, probe, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract or reconstruct the strategy, its signals, or its parameters; and you may not use the service to build a competing product. Any breach of this section causes Safaqat serious and irreparable harm, and we reserve the right to suspend the account immediately, seek injunctive relief, and pursue every legal remedy available, including claims for the full damages we deem appropriate.

11. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, which, while the subscription is free, is zero. We are not liable for broker outages, market data errors, internet failures, or losses arising from trading itself.

12. Assumption of risk, release and indemnification

You use the service entirely at your own risk and of your own choice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Safaqat, its operators and contributors from any claim arising out of trading results, broker actions or outages, market events, data errors, or your own configuration choices, and you agree to indemnify us against claims brought by third parties in connection with your use of the service or your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Termination

You may stop at any time: disable trading, revoke your keys, or ask us to delete your account and data.We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription and access, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason we deem appropriate, without prior notice and without liability to you. Where a paid subscription is terminated by us other than for your breach, any fee already paid remains non-refundable as set out above.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where we have your email, by message. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
